Cure for a sore throat?!

Question: anyone know a quick way to cure a sore throat? i need my voice for tomorrow for my sports boradcast class.

i bought Halls plus losenges, and Cepacol losenges.

any suggestions?

Put some garlic in your food tonight - it has antibiotic properties and makes a difference very quickly for me. Honey and lemon in hot water soothes, and let the others do the talking.

if your going for a cure, you need to take zinc (assuming its caused by a virus and not a bactirium like strep). New research suggests zinc to cure colds.

Specifically for sore throat, I've been reading about using cayenne pepper powder.

what you do is mix the powder in a glass of water(use desired strength, or amount of pepper), and gargle with it every 15 minutes.

If you have had the sore throat for a few days, it will take longer but keep at it.
