As far as the homeopathical remedies are concerned, the following combination should help heal the wound from the inside out:

Arnica 200C
Bellis Perenis 200C
Hypericum 200C
Ledum 200C
Rhus Tox 200C
Ruta 200C

Also, Rescue Remedy from the Bach flower remedies will help immensely. I'd take it every 10-15 minutes until the shock and the pain subside.

Reiki will help very much in this situation, both the pain will be gone fast, and the wound will heal up to 8 times faster than it would usually do. Ask amongst your friends, if someone is Reiki, they can help you both by giving you treatments directly on your hand and via long distance. If you do not know anybody to give you Reiki, you can always have a long distance treatment from this page:

Smoke pot, its natrual herb

Arnica
Excuse the spelling

sorry but anti inflammatory try advil

Stinging nettle works for arthritis, may also work for the pain in your wrist, as they are both bone related. You can google holistic pain relief and see which herbs can be used. Sorry you are in such pain, that's gotta suck. Hope you at least have a good story of how you broke your wrist. :)

why no pain killers?
painkillers and ice
ice brings down swelling and stops pain
if your in that much pain
is it dull or sharp?

"Naturally" I prefer Vicoden, a shot of tequilla and a dark room. Second choice would be a direct injection of corticosteroid with a long needle, a glass of Pinot Grigio and a safe place to scream, but as a last resort I would take two aleve with a cup of warm chamomile tea, a dose of mylanta to coat the tummy and the couch with a season of "The Office" to distract me. Feel for you dear, get better soon.
PS- Call me when your better and we can go do that Caber toss as the Highland Games we've been talking about. My kilt is back from the dry cleaners.

well... there are some things that may help... but always check with a doc to see what they say about it...

For starters... pain can sometimes be taken care of with willow bark... it contains a chemical similar to aspirin... but there are several herbs noted for their anti inflammatory effects.

Then for the bone healing... there's all kinds of places that can give advice regarding that. One of the best that I know of is comfrey. Just keep in mind that it's a topical herb... not really meant to be taken internally... so, if you have a splint that can be taken off for washing, that would be the time to apply the comfrey as well.

Ditto on the the Arnica. Since you have it in a cast, I assume, you will want to get the pills. (But, if the sore area is exposed, I prefer the speed of the gel.) Follow directions on the bottle. The only OTC pain killer we use is good old aspirin. My hubby is missing a kidney so we really need alternatives that aren't harmful to the kidneys. Homeopathics definitely a good way to go.

I use Serrapeptase for inflammation and pain and it works great.
The enzyme offers a viable alternative to salicylates (such as aspirin), ibuprofen, and other NSAIDS as well as steroids- potentially providing relief for those suffering with rheumatoid arthritis and a wide array of other autoimmune diseases that affect the inflammatory response, including ulcerative colitis, psoriasis, uveitis, allergies, and some forms of cancer.
