Has any body ever tried using Vicks on there feet to stop coughing at night. Does it work, really?!

Question: Actually a recent international medical team reported that a generous covering of the bottoms of both feet with Vicks VapoRub then putting on socks just before going to bed will prevent night time coughing. I found it hard to believe but suggested it to two of my patients who were astounded with the results. Was it the Vicks or placebo effect ???

Yes.. i do and it really does work...try putting some vicks in a sink full of hot water and inhail it works...

Why not rub it on your chest? That's how it's supposed to work.

No I never tried it, but it does work if you put it on your chest and then add a hot towel to warm it up.

Oh Yes it works
And rub it in all your cracks and crevacess.
But, don't let it get near your eyes.
I do that every night and I have no cough
nor do I snoor......
Try it, you'll like it

It will really work if you put it on your chest not your feet. The Vicks cough drops are okay too. The Robitussin DM is good and Nyquil. But the Nyquil can run your blood pressure up. They worked for me especially the DM and Nyquil. Try some halls.

Haha... your FEET? Try your chest. Maybe that will work.
