Reiki is like Kabuki Theatre.
In Reiki, there's a prearranged solemn arm-waving interaction between a deluded "practitioner" and a gullible "patient". Each pretends there is an "energy" exchange, when in reality nothing happens. Unlike Kabuki, a Reiki session ends in total chaos when either party bursts out laughing.
i really dont like that that they put their hands on your head.
They are kind of strange and i dont think somebody has got any miracle at least any real miracle.
I think Reiki is nothing more than the placebo effect at work. It does nothing to heal patients, it only makes them think they are healed. This can be very dangerous if it fools sick people into avoiding proper evidence based medicine.

Well, I'm opened minded to all that's out there. Reiki is one of the most popular energy healing arts. My two cents... it feels like you had a few cups of espresso. A nice boost in your energy level. A pick me up, so to speak. But miraculous healing? Nope, can't say that I have. As long as it's free, I don't mind having Reiki done on me otherwise I'm heading to Starbucks.
I recommend Reiki if you feel drained, depressed, or going through a difficult time. A good Reiki healer will clear your energy and make you feel "lighter" giving your energy back. It gets rid of all your negative energy. When I first had Reiki performed on me, I layed on a table, my eyes were closed where I had a vision of two people dressed in black giving me a healing. When I was done, the woman who did the actual Reiki, told me she saw two healers assisting her, that were my healers!
I've had reiki three times... The first was the best, the most recent, not as great. I'm not sold on it 100% but I've really enjoyed it. Even the most recent session was relaxing if nothing else. Human touch is cool. Maybe there's some energy happening - I don't know. That's what I think of reiki ;)
