Have you used Yunnan Paiyao?!

Question: I started taking Yunnan Paiyao this morning for some bruises I received while playing paintball on Sunday and it taste like dirt. I will burp and taste the herb.

What did you eat or drink to get rid of the bad taste? Is there anything that can help reduce the taste?

Hi,

First I would have to ask if you are taking a pill or a powder. It comes in either form. If you are taking pills, feel free to take them with a beverage other than water. I recommend to my clients to take their herbs with meals and they can use milk, juice, or tea when taking pills. This seems to help the back lash of tasting them hours later. I don't prefer the pills but sometimes that is all that is available or that works for the client. If you are taking a powder all the same holds true but you need to mix the herbs with water or you could try a tea. You can then "chase" with another beverage. I would take the herbs in the middle of your meal as this allows the body a better opportunity to digest them with you food. These are just some of the suggestions I give to my clients who are having some trouble with their herbs.
Another great options for bruises is the Homeopathic remedy Arnica- use the gel and apply directly to the bruise.
If you are a person who hates pills, there are other options out there. Write me back and I will get you some information if you desire. Good luck and happy paintballing in the future.
