Question: Do you know anybody who tried it when they were in severe pain?

Kalos, what are you talking about? You better lay off whatever you're smoking.

Hydrotherapy is commonly used in physical therapy rehab centers. Any sports athlete like baseball or football players definitely used one. Think of it like a mini jacuzzi for the arm or leg, or even the whole entire body. Like using a hot/cold compress, now you're using a tub filled with water and streams of therapeutic water of prescribed temperature or even alternating temperature flowing at the affected body part.

It works quite well in controlling inflammation if the person injured him/her self with cold water, or helps relax any tight muscle area, and increase circulation where needed with hot/warm water. You don't need a jacuzzi to get hydrotherapy, just fill your bathtub with water of the appropriate temperature and soak the affected area for a good 20 minutes.

Homeopathy is the exact same thing...
