If D-Mannose flushes infecious bacterias out the urinary tract does that mean that I shouldnt take Acidophiles!

Question: at the same time because the good bacteria might get flush out too??

Answers: at the same time because the good bacteria might get flush out too??

Take the acidophilus 2 hours away from the D-Mannose so that it isn't effected. You need to make sure you still are taking probiotics (acidophilus) so that you can keep the good bacteria replenished when dealing with the bad. It is the same when taking any antibacterial or antibiotic.

No, you can take both. D-mannose is like food for E.Coli - they grab onto it and you pee it out. I don't think the good bacteria go anywhere.

I use D-mannose to prevent UTIs, but if you already have one it really won't help as much as antibiotics! You don't want to get a kidney infection too!

I used to get UTIs all the time, but since drinking 1 teaspoon of D-mannose mixed in water every time i have sex i haven't had any (and pee before and after sex)...
