Your body is probably just reacting to the wheatgrass juice. It might be causing bloating.

Detoxing is a myth. If everyone needed to detox as much as they say we do, we'd be dead.

Just eat healthy. You're probably overdoing it on something and your body is reacting with pain. There might be a lot more fibre or vitamin c in the foods you are eating, which is causing a reaction.

My mother used to feed me all sorts of 'natural' remedies that did nothing for my health -- in fact they caused problems of their own. Consult a doctor.

All Organic foods may not be pure all the time. Organic foods tend to putrefy unless you have it fresh. Most have preservatives added to retain its freshness. Wheatgrass juice is Vit E in its natural form. Firstly, are you having a deficit of Vit E? Unless there is a deficit, do not unnecessarily take any vitamins. Overdose is bad.
But I personally do not think that just drinking wheatgrass juice causes intestinal disorder. It is not detoxing. Stop taking both - wheatgrass and apple juice.
Do not detoxify yourself. Our body has the capacity to detox itself in its own way. Accelerating by using external methods of detox may cause harm in future.
Be very careful.
Eat a healthy diet, exercise daily, and keep yourself fit. That is the mantra to a great body.

Couldn't have said it better myself - from above "Eat a healthy diet, exercise daily, and keep yourself fit. That is the mantra to a great body." I have been saying that since I started posting on Yahoo Answers.

Wheatgrass is great Vitamin source and a solid source of fiber, but don't take it daily as it has been said too much of even a good thing can hurt your body. Back off on the Wheatgrass and include it less frequently in your diet, balance it out with your other diet choices.

You might have a slight intolerance in the wheat grass you might want to stop.If you are looking to detox body then go on a fresh organic fruit and vegetable juice diet slowly.Your body cant detox if you keep over loading your system with allergys, chemicals,,sugar ect.

This is an allergic reaction caused by one of 2 problems. Either:

1) You have an allergy to grass.
or
2) You are reacting to molds in the wheatgrass (most likely).

First, trust what your body is telling you and don't drink any more of this particular source of wheatgrass juice.

Second, let's discuss what is likely happening.

Wheatgrass is notorious for having high levels of mold in it (read about growers struggling mightily with this in the ewheatgrass forum reference). These molds release a type of poison called called mycotoxins (look at the wikipedia reference). Mycotoxins are very unusual in that the effects are variable and very personal. In other words, 2 people could take the same amount of juice sourced from the same wheatgrass and have very different reactions.

Person 1 might be just fine...loved it.

Person 2 might be really negatively affected. The common complaints are headache, dizziness, nausea, a rush or vomiting. These are reactions caused by mycotoxins.

The strange thing is that the next time you get the juice, the reactions from the 2 people might be completely reversed.

For this reason, any establishment serving wheatgrass juice that might have a mold issue caps the amount served at 2 fl. oz. Your indicators that the wheatgrass has mold are taste (it is pungent) and the negative side effects mentioned above. Wheatgrass grown without molds does not have the highly reactive or strong detoxifying effects that you read about online. You just need a clean source of the juice.

The secret to growing without mold is simple. Grow it outdoors, do so in a region that isn't too hot...and mother nature takes care of the rest. The mold/mycotoxin problem is really one of growing in trays, greenhouses and in the southern states.

Our company is DynamicGreens Wheatgrass and we grow wheatgrass outdoors in Canada. People using our juice take as much as 10 fl. oz. per day when addressing critical health concerns. Either fresh off the field or taken later in a flash frozen format, our wheatgrass juice is extremely well tolerated. We believe outdoor growth is critical to producing a clean juice, so we grow in natural seasons, flash freeze the juice and then ship it overnight throughout North America. The best part is that people are having terrific health experiences and you can read about them in our forum here:

As taste is you first indicator of mold, take a look at this post on our site from Dec 14:
