Thanks!

My friend randomly thought that she might have candida, and then when she was with me at our schools alternative health library she saw a book on candida and checked it out.
Having read it, she was certain her condition matched all the symptoms, and I learned about it from her. The thing that bugged her the most about candida is that the fungus enters your brain, and it significantly altered her thoughts and moods.
She wanted to do something about it, but all the doctors she saw told her the condition didn't exist and she didn't have it. The best alternative therapy she came across was "eat 0 sugar and have a better diet." I'd read a book on hydrogen peroxide therapies, and one section in it mentioned that peroxide seemed to get rid of candida (while most things available don't). We didnt really think it would work, but I gave her some food grade peroxide and she drank a few drops of it a day. I checked back with her 2 weeks later and she said she felt like she was 95% of where she'd been beforet he candida (and "I cannot believe how much this stuff was affecting me.")

Take that as you will, but it's all true, and it happened less than a month ago.
Candida is an unfortunate condition because it's really difficult to cure and has a lot of effects. One of the most common causes is taking too many antibiotics.

yea! drink cranberry juice and alka seltzer.
but yeast infection happens because of your vagina..

I have heard of it. Candida yeast lives in a few places in our body, and it is not always a bad thing. There is usually a delicate balance between the yeast and certain bacteria which feed on it. Sometimes the balance is thrown off by an illness or antibiotics or other imbalance in the body and that's when the yeast overabundance becomes a problem. There are a few things to try under your health care provider's supervision. Stomach probiotics and acidophilus may help to even out the imbalance by reintroducing some of the good bacteria into the gut. Cutting out excessive breads, carbs and sugars is a good idea too, as they are what feed the yeast. Under your doctor's care, ween yourself off of the tendency to take antibiotics as well except in the case of emergencies or surgeries as they are what is probably killing the bacteria in your gut that are the yeast-eaters

They have candida cleanses at GNC, The Vitamin Shoppe and I beleive even the Whole Food Store. Things that candida doesn't like is of course no sugar but also ginger, garlic and spicey food. There is more but I don't remember all just the ones that I like to consume. Please note candida is not as bad as some people try to make it, it is only an issue when there is an overgrowth.

I would not worry about the candida yeast because it only becomes a danger with people's immune system becomes compromised with such diseases like HIV. Because symptoms match up don't mean its candida. If you are healthy you don't need to worry about it.

You need to do a cleanse for candida and then take probiotics and eat yogurt to replace the good bacteria that is taken out with the cleanse.
Sugar feeds candida
some herbs that are good for candida are listed here

Candida can be responsible for lots of things - with or without a "visible" yeast infection.

Candida is a genus of yeasts. Clinically, the most significant member of the genus is Candida albicans, which can cause numerous infections (called candidiasis or thrush) in humans and other animals, especially in immunocompromised patients.Various Candida species are members of gut flora in animals, including C. albicans.

The last decade has seen the sustained medical importance of opportunistic infections due to different Candida species mainly due to the worldwide increase in the number of immunocompromised patients, who are highly susceptible to opportunistic infections.Meanwhile, the genome sequence of several Candida species has been completed, enabling the detailed investigation of some aspects of their biology with the aid of post-genomic approaches. The basic knowledge gained from these investigations of pathogenic Candida, and related yeasts, can translate into innovations in the development of novel antifungal therapies, original approaches for targeted immuno-interventions, or highly sensitive diagnosis of fungal infections.
Candida species are responsible for superficial infections such as oropharyngeal candidiasis (thrush) and vulvovaginal candidiasis (vaginal Candidiasis). These infections can be cured with antifungal medications, but they do represent a concern in AIDS patients.

Candida are also responsible for a number of life-threatening opportunistic infections in AIDS patients and other immunocompromised people - including patients treated in intensive care units (ICUs), cancer patients receiving chemotherapy, and organ transplant patients.

Another common Candida infection is oral candidiasis caused by acrylic dentures, especially in elderly denture wearers.Colonization of the gastrointestinal tract by C. albicans may result from taking antacids or antihyperacidity drugs. This colonization may interfere with absorption of Coenzyme Q10.
