It works wonders on an upset stomach, on car sickness, AND tastes great with sushi.
I can't see anything wrong with it. I'd slice the skin off, but the rest of the root is fine.
I've read where this is a good natural way to help with upset stomach. I personally have never tried it but you might try doing some research and give it a try.
It depends on why you're taking it. But yes, it's good for you. You can cook with it too, if you don't want to eat it raw. At first you might not like the taste, but you kind of get used to it.
