I'm guessing they will eventually be made, but that he will hand the whole thing to somebody else to do, and he will be just a producer or something.
They could hardly be any worse than the last three. Jar Jar Binks was my favorite new character if that tells you anything.
He now claims that was never the plan. Recently he was interviewed to say that he felt he would be too old when the time came to make another trilogy. That may be why he is planning some television ventures with Star Wars stuff.
