Herbal cures & remedies....................!

Question: I would like to hear your best herbal cure or remedy. I already know about MSM, Resveratrol, Zinc, Xylitol, Pomegranite powder. This is such an interesting subject to me. Do you have a favorite? How do you make it? What does it do? Why do you think it does what it does? How did you learn about it?

Thank you in advance for sharing with me! =)

I love this question. I love my favorite herb - Mullein: http://www.ashtreepublishing.com/Book_Ci...
The link will sum up all the great stuff about it.

We use it for everything respiratory, my husband even picked some leaves last weekend and boiled them in water for a steam inhaler. He had a headache and sinus pressure. He didn't have long to try it, though, since we were heading to the store. But, while he was inhaling his head felt much better!

My mom usually picks and dries it for us yearly. This year we ran out, but luckily found some on the back acreage when clearing some land! YEAH! Otherwise, I would have had to buy the predried leaves or bags.

We first found out about it from an herbalist friend when my daughter (fully vaccinated) was suffering from whooping cough. It calmed her cough like nothing else. That was 11 years ago. We still use and recommend it for its powerful curative and comforting effects. We basically use it as a tea - steeped 5-8 minutes and sweetened with honey. It tastes good too!

Thanks for asking! I can't wait to see what others have to say.

Start each day with the so-called Master Cleanse Drink - whith a cup of water, the juice of half an organic lemon, a pinch of cayenne pepper, and 2 tsp of honey, organic maple syrup or molasses over a gentle heat to serve warm.

About 30 minutes before lunch, make the same drink again but add 1-2tsp of finely grated ginger. This is an old Ayurvedic trick to stimulate the gastric juices and help digestion.

Australian Bush Flower remedies are also good a range of emotional conditions:

I like using Castor oil for just about everything

Ginger-natural anti-biotic and anti-viral properties.
Cook with it and drink as a tea with honey.
