St. John's Wort is for depression.

Xanax is for anxiety.

These are two different medical conditions.
I could find no interactions between these two products.
I always heard not to mix St.John's with anything.
Try Lexapro,Zoloft,or Prozac.
I'm not sure about the interactions between Xanax and St. John's Wort, but I do know that Xanax is highly addictive and can easily be abused by people, even those on it by prescription. Be careful and make sure you are closely monitored by your doctor!
Just take the Xanax, I wouldn't take the St. John's Wort, getting your anxiety is under contol is more importamt.===
I would not recommend St. John's Wort with Xanax. And you need to be careful with taking Xanax for a long period of time -- detox has been noted to be hell to come off of.
Have you tried Zoloft for anxiety?
