Any of the mint family is good for stomach upset. Peppermint oil and peppermint essential oil is one of the VERY few essential oils that can be safely ingested. 2-3 drops in a glass of water is the normal dose for an upset tummy. It is also an antispasmodic and carminative which means it helps a being to express gas, shall we say...Oil of Oregano can also help with upset tummies. Same dose. I would recommend the use of mint tea before essential oils, however. It's just a gentler way to go.

A couple of drops on the tongue should do. When I was little, it was an alternative to clove oil for toothaches.

Well, it depends on if it's an Essential Oil or if it's pure peppermint oil. Essential Oils are usually oils that are used for aromatic purposes. However, pure Peppermint Oil is perfectly safe to take and is primarily used for calming the stomach and helping with gas and/or indigestion.
There are some people that use it as part of a mouthwash (in a diluted amount), but that's usually for taste more than anything else.

I use it deluded slightly for a great mouth wash. It's fresh and non medical tasting!! ?

Take a small amount and rub your feet with it. It is the best for someone who works on there feet all day...

if it is essential oil, then you can dilute it 1-1 with olive oil and rub on your stomach (or anyone else's that is upset!) Also helps with concentration and well as breathing!!!!

Basically for upset stomach, to move the poop.
