Have you ever heard of certain foods or herbal medicines affecting the colour of a person's eyes?!

Question: For about six weeks now, I've been taking seabuckthorn seed oil as a supplement for my skin. It has a bright orange colour. I could swear that my dark brown eyes are starting to get a slight orange tint they didn't have before. Is that possible or am I just crazy?

I've never heard of anything like this happening...but that doesn't mean that it's not possible.

I'd suggest that maybe what's happening is that this supplement is affecting the colour of the whites of your eyes and that's reflecting in your iris colour....

but that's a guess and nothing more.

crazy, nothing can do that to your body. ITs the reason why when you eat all that blue food you don't turn blue.

Doesn't sound likely. Probably certain lights making your eyes lighter. Or you could just be examing your eye more now and happened to notice that even though its been like that all along. My eyes look green when I cry cus the light and water in my eye changes what colors I see. :[ I wish there was eye color-changing food. That would rock!
