yes, it does work. It's called Nature's way.
Health food stores often have DO that is all natural. I've never tried it personally so I dont know how well it works but you're smart to try and stay away from things with aluminum. My mom always used to say that you shouldnt use DO with aluminum because of breast cancer and other health risks.

There's a product called a deodorant crystal. It's natural, safe, and effective. It kills the germs that cause odors, but it's not an antiperspirant. You'll still sweat.

The crystals are actually a form of aluminum, but they say they are too large molecules to be absorbed. They do work very well.
I have heard recent chatter about Milk of Magnesia being used instead of the crystals - since many are skeptical about the aluminum absorption claims. They say it is really effective, but I haven't tried it.

Adidas has a line of antiperspirants that uses finely chopped wool instead of Aluminum products. I use the male product daily, and it works for me. My wife likes the female versions.
Liquid chlorophyll is probably the best there is as it is an internal deodorant that deodorises your body odours before they come out of your pores. A table spoon of high strength liquid chlorophyll every day is all you need.
External deodorants are full of toxins and don't last long because the slightest perspiration simply displaces them.
Liquid chlorophyll also has a cooling effect so you perspire a bit less.

Yes, it works, but it doesn't stop you from sweating. Your body is supposed to sweat. Sweating removes toxins from your body.
