a good estimate that covers all carrier oils is that there are about 600 drops in one ounce. A safe and healing dose with any essential oil would be 1-3% solution so at 1% add 6 drops of essential oil to an ounce of carrier and of course a 3% solution would have 18 drops of essential oil in one ounce of carrier. more than that is not necessary and could overtax the organs of elimination. be careful when giving to pregnant ladies or people with seizure disorder. and do not allow a pregnant lady to rub it into a spouse's skin as the lady will absorb the remedy.
"Skin Cream:
Ingredients:
-8fl. oz. (225ml.) carrrier oil
-8fl. oz. (225m.l.) filtered water
1 stick of beeswax
1/4 tsp. borax
1. Put the beeswax in a heatproof bowl and pour in half carrier oil (8fl. oz.)
2.Dissolve the borax completely in 1 tbsp. of boiling water and add to the hot oil and beeswax. Add the rest of the oil
3. Add the filtered water to the mixture and beat until anll htre water has been incorporated. Allow the mmixture to cool, then pot you cream."
