Hi, I'd like to know the process through which a person goes when dying of an overdose while sleeping?!
Question: I'll put Heath Ledger passing for instance, what do you think he felt(If he felt something) while sleeping when taking a fatal mixture of prescripted pills?
Sometimes i think it's like when you are sleeping and all of a sudden you feel you can't breath anymore but your body is not responding at the same time, is like that?

you wait 10 or 15 mins and then everything sort of 'slows down'.
you feel sleepy, and everyhting if kinda fuzzy and warm, nd you feel sleepy so you just close your eyes and then i guess you stop breathing shortly after, depending on if your OD was successful or not. you do however, wake up feeling deathly high and drowsy, almost too drunk to walk and see.
its the worst feeling ever, surviving an OD.

I am not real sure what it would feel like I have never OD'd but respiratory depression is the major side effect of narcotics so yes....stop breathing with a OD of narcotics.
It has got to be dizzying and confusing.
If you are considering this for yourself, please know that you have got to reach out and get help, It is all around you. ask anyone. If it gets down to it call 911. You can not let yourself get so far gone. you are worth it and there are people who want to help you. It is too final.... you will never feel the breeze on your face again. Nothing is worth taking your life over. Know that you are not thinking clearly and you will feel better later!
In addition to previous answers, I would suggest that OD on some substances can lead to very unpleasant convulsions and vomiting during the course of events.
