if you are against taking pills in getting a good sleep, then here are the home remedies for you which will definitely help you out :

Melatonin is a natural supplement that happens to come in pill form.

Another option is chamomile tea, warm milk....

St.johns wart....you can find it at any health food store

Smoke weed.

yep i know of one mum used to give to my sister... its natural and bought from the chemist in a little dropper bottle. im real sorry, i cant think of what its called, but its simple and explanatory to what it is.... also herbal teas.... cant remember which ones, but i think chamomile tea is good.... also put lavendar in your pillow..... these things were used many years ago to aid sleep, and work. also, calm realxing music, or sounds of nature on tape, no food or stimulants for a few hours before bed.... meditation and relaxation.... these ones work the best for me.

and never forget the sleepy power of reading a book :)

Drink something warm (not caffeinated). If you have an iPod make a relaxing playlist or listen to a low-key CD on low volume. Reading a book in bed can make anyone wicked sleepy, also. Otherwise...count sheep?

you can try this.. fill bath tub with cold water about ankle deep. get in and march in place for about 15 minutes. you can also get herbal teas to help you sleep like passionflower is good one. about one hour before bedtime, pour boiling water over one teaspoon of dried passionflower. cover and let steep for 15 minutes before you drink it.. good luck
