Wally's Ear Oil out of Auburn, CA is another brand that's excellent. They also sell ear candles, both the beeswax and parafin kinds, which were extremely helpful to me these last two weeks as I had a cold which ended up in my head and ears and blocked the right ear completely. If you can't find HerbPharm or Wally's, Gaia Herbs is an excellent company, and there are many others as well. Other herbs/oils that can help you are tea tree, eucalyptus, peppermint, thyme, rosemary, sage and oregano essential oils mixed w/ warm olive oil and ginger and garlic juice mixed in as well. Tinctures of echinaecea, goldenseal, burdock, dandelion, astragalus, schizandra, red root may also be extremely helpful. Usnea will be of particular help if you tend to run way too warm/hot as echinaecea, astragalus and schizandra will all aggravate heat conditions. Email me if you'd like directions on how to make Mullein-Garlic Ear Oil. It's extremely easy and very inexpensive. Cut way down on mucous-forming foods, esp. dairy, animal fats and white flour, and you will find this condition doesn't recur nearly as often.
