Why is it that all of these cold medicines that say they treat cold symptoms really dont do anything?!

Question: I have tried: Sudafed, Tylenol, Alka-Seltzer, Advil, Dayquil, Kirkland cold medicine, Fervex, even some maximum strenght nasal sprays, and nothing seems to work. None of these actually treats nasal congestion, aches and pains, or coughing. Why are all these medicines so ineffective?

The main effective ingredient of cold medicines has had to be eliminated, because it is the same ingredient that is used to make the drug, crystal methamphetamine. It is pseudoephedrine hcl. It is still available if you ask your pharmacist--they keep it behind the counter, and you have to sign for it. Did you try the kind that is kept behind the counter that you must ask for and sign for?

because they treat only symptoms.

Because they took all the good stuff off the shelves because crack heads used it to make drugs.

Well, medicin that you buy in the store treat symptoms of your sickness. They don't actually help with curing the viral infection.

If you want to cure your cold, the best way is to stop taking the medicines and eat some healthy, natural, whole grain, organic fruits, vegetables, rice/quinoa etc.

Good luck,

They don't work immediately and some only work short term unless you continue to take them.try ibuprofen and megadoses of Vitamin C-they both have been proven to work in studies.

Try Robitessum and Sudafed [The kind you sign for]. Also natural remedies work great.

Is only a suppression, sometimes, is good to let your illness comes out, is the body way of telling you need to rest.
