If you experienced an infection of some kind,did you find certain vitamins/supplements HELPED you? ty?!

for a long time now i have taken just one tablet of "multivitamins&minerals" a day, combined with a daily intake of good freshly cooked food of meat, fish, veg, pasta, rice, plus a lot of fresh fruit, all in small quantities, give me adequate protection against all infections.
I am 87, still very active,and still in business.
Haven`t been to my doctor in 14 years.

Yes, Goldenseal and Echinacea work well for me, plus taking 1000mg three times a day works as well.

Just want to add that some herbs like garlic act as a blood thinner, so if this is a problem for you its best not to take it. You should always check with your heatlh care specialist anyway before taking supplements.

Most pill pushing doctors aren't trained in natural medicine so they don't believe in them via their ignorance. They would Rather push antibiotics on you so they and the drug company can make more money. Many times they do more harm than good.
For most infections you can take a combo of the following;
Oregonol P73 Dr Ohhera's Probiotics12+ (the Best) Olive leaf extract, Fresh Garlic,grape seed extract. All of these can be found in any health store.
Acadopolis has only a few of the good bacteria But Dr Ohhirra's Probiotics has most of the strains of good bacteria essential for life.

Olive leaf extract is good for fighting infections.

When I get sick, Pau 'd Arco seems to make it go away in half the time it would normally take.

All of the above mentioned supplements are good, but I just use vitamin C. I take 1500 to 2000mg the first couple of days, then 1000 mg for the next two to three days. Vitamin C boosts the immune system so my body can fight the bug on its own. (500 mg is the RDA).
