Question: Booze to help me sleep!?
I have a horrible time falling asleep!. Now most people say, "Just go lay in your bed in the pitch dark and you'll fall asleep"!. Sadly it doesn't work that way!. I've laid in bed almost 3 hours before I finally gave up on it!.

I tried taking melatonin, but even at the max amount ur supposed to take it still takes me HOURS to fall asleep!.

I cut out all caffeine in my diet, and lowered the amount of sugar and food I eat before bed!. Last meal being about 4-5pm!.

Finally, as a last resort I started taking shots about an hour before I want to sleep!. So far it seems to work, but I know it

If you could find a place to take a warm bath (float) in epsom salts early in the day, it would add a lot of energy to your mind!. So much that by the end of the day and evening you would be tired to the point that sleep would happen without even thinking about it!.

It is certainly good that you have tried many constructive suggestions, such as eliminating caffeine, trying melatonin, etc!. There is another aspect to consider and that is that sleep, or in this case sleeplesness, is also a behavior habit!.

Even though you have tried making certain changes, it make take time for you to actually change a sleeping pattern habit!.

There are two other approaches that work for me!. One is reading technical material, because after thirty minutes I doze off!. Another is watching light comedy shows or movies on TV!. That seems to relax my mind and help me forget about the many things that I have pending to do, which gets in the way of my sleeping and being able to do it!.

As for alcohol, only use it occasionally, not habitually!.

If you can find a place to float, by all means try it, because it is a blast!.

I also love taking a shower now that I found a shower gel that lathers up richly, has a great smell, leaves skin smooth, and does not give you slippery feet in the shower!. I call it Safe Shower Suds!. Email me if you want info!.

Instead of liquor, try drinking a glass of red wine (but only one glass)!. If one glass of alcohol seems to help you fall asleep, I see nothing wrong with it!. Red wine has shown to be good for you in small quantities!.Www@Youqa@Cn
