Both of my girls had lice for MONTHS!. I'd get rid of it with RID and it'd come right back from other kids at school!.
Finally one day I got exasperated!. I washed everything all over again, vacuumed, and made them sleep with their hair soaked in virgin olive oil, covered in saran wrap!.
also, tea tree oil will repel lice but it won't kill the ones you have!. Start w/the olive oil!. works like a charm!.
The lice went away and never came back!. Lice breath through holes in their sides!.!.!.the olive oil makes them stop breathing!.
RID and other insecticides cause lice to develop immunity to the poison, and new generations come back stronger!. The poison doesn't kill all of the eggs, and new generations have immunity to the shampoo and it stops working!.

no just washing and drying is all it takes because if they don't drown they will be fried!!!!!!!!!!!Www@Youqa@Cn

Use hot water and treat everything, carpet, people, cars, head rest, pillows, brushes (boil) or buy new ones!. If its kids, be careful with little ones!.Www@Youqa@Cn
I think just very hot water will do it in in the laundry!. Things that can't be washed, put in a plastic bag for about 10 days!. They can't live without a human host!.

It is the heat from the dryer that kills both lice and eggs!. To remove lice from your hair, you can mix the EO (about 20 drops) into a cup of oil, such as olive oil or canola oil!. Actually any cooking oil will work!. This is much safer and, IMHO, more effective than commerical (chemical) lice treatments!. It is the oil that coats the lice and makes them unable to breath!. It also slows them down so you can comb them out!. However, nothing kills the eggs, not even commercial kits!. With the oil treatment, you will need to repeat this every couple of days because you don't know when the eggs hatch!. You will be lice free within about 6 days for good!.Www@Youqa@Cn
You can always try putting in some eucalyptus oil in with your washing its a lice deterant, it will also help get rid of any other germs and stains in your laundry and smells fresh!. I use it in nearly every wash I do!!
If you suspect lice on your children make a blend using
25gm white bees wax, 50 ml castor oil,
melt together in a bain-marie untill creamy consaitancy, once cooled add about 25 drops of each Rosemary, Lavender and Geranium, rub into scalp and leave overnight!.Www@Youqa@Cn
