Question: Are all GNC products FDA approved!? I bought these cranberry fingerprinted tablets and I was wondering!?
By the way, why the heck does it say they are "fingerprinted!?" What does that mean!?Www@Youqa@Cn

Answers:
Currently no food/nutritional supplements require FDA approval!. FDA approves drugs not food supplements!.

They can approve the lab the supplements are processed in though!. If a supplement manufacturer has a FDA approved lab it means that the lab is at a high enough quality to produce drugs in!.Www@Youqa@Cn

GNC herbs are not FDA approved!. I believe "fingerprinted" means that they are certified by a lab to contain the amount of active ingredient claimed on the label!. Most reputable herb companies will have independent labs certify the contents are what is claimed, and herb companies who do not should be avoided!. I definitely wouldn't trust the FDA to approve anything, considering the contamination of medicines, food, and other things that have occurred recentlyWww@Youqa@Cn

Nope, most if not all GNC products are FDA approved!. Anything considered a "dietary supplement is not"!. Usually it will say "these claims not approved by the FDA" on the bottle!.Www@Youqa@Cn

no, almost none of the products sold at GNC are FDA approved!. If you look really closely it will probably say on the box somewhere something like "these statements have not been evaluated by the FDA"Www@Youqa@Cn
