Is Chiropractic treatment safe?!

Question: Is Chiropractic treatment safe!?
Has anyone had successful Chiropractic treatment of cervical herniated discs (possible pinched nerve) rotor cuff tear, or carpal tunnel, and if so, was it painful and how long did it take!. The neck part scares me, that unless they are using so called "gentle manipulation" the treatment can be very dangerous!.Www@Youqa@Cn

Answers:
Yes, Yes, and Yes!.!.!.but find a good one!. Preferably one that doesn't need PT equipment and machines!. The less skill a chiropractor has, the more machines he needs to compensate!.

Gentle and low force adjustments are very well suited for what you describe!.

Be wary of the answers from negative know nothing skeptics!. Those who say it cannot be done should stay out of the way of those who are doing it!.Www@Youqa@Cn

Well the deal is this!. There are certain herniations that should not be touched!. There are others that may respond!. As far as the rotator cuff yes there are good chiropractors that may help with specific exercises and some other manula techniques!. But many times you will need surgery!. As far as carpal tunnel!. Yes there are techniques that some chiropractic doctors use for it with success!. But you need to find the right chiro!. Do NOT just pick one!. Find on that does physical therapy as well as chiropractic manipulation!. Find one that is broad scope!. As far as safety!. Injuries even with herniated discs are rare so do not worry about that!. Avoid chiropractors that adjust with low force instruments!. They are scams for your problem!. You are looking for traditional manipulation performed in a gentle controlled fasion!. About 25% of DCs will be good choices!. The other 75% will be a waste!.Www@Youqa@Cn

Have you been living in a cave!? Rotor cuff, and carpal tunnel syndrome are all soft tissue problems and should be addressed by a soft tissue specialist, (massage therapy)!. Bone issues are to be adressed by a bone specialist, Chiropractic Dr!. herniated discs can be adressed by removing the edema to allow room for the nuculeas pulpus to receed back into the disc!. This can be done by a therapist!. Bones dont just decide to move one day!. Muscle moves bones and forcing them to where they feel they should be will traumatize them all over again, thats why you need to keep going back!. Relax the muscles that connect to the bones and they will align again!. Bones dont move on their own!.Www@Youqa@Cn

I had treatment for carpal tunnel- my hands were practically frozen into claws, my GP put me on muscle relaxants that made me feel like I was always walking through jello, and he wanted to refer me for surgery!. So I went to my Chiro!. A couple of adjustments (surprising, but not painful) and a series of exercises, and problem solved!.Www@Youqa@Cn

Depends on the doctor!. some are good and some aren't worth wasting your money on!. Just like MDs!. I wouldn't trust about 70% of MDs!.
I went to chiropracters for over a year ,two or three times a week to fix my back!.Www@Youqa@Cn

rotator cuff tear NEEDS SURGERY to repair!. See an actual MD!. Chiropractors do nothing but make it worse!.Www@Youqa@Cn

yes,very effective,pinched nerve (neck),felt better in a couple visitsWww@Youqa@Cn
