How to swallow tablets?!
Question: How to swallow tablets.?
I have been prescribed tablets despite telling my doctor I just can't swallow them, it also says not to crush or chew them.. I have tried to swallow it with water but whenever I try the water goes down still leaving the tablet.. The tablets are erythromycin (which are for my skin), so I don't know what side effects I'd have if I did crush or chew them.. I just can't seem to swallow them.. Furthermore, I don't know if there is a liquid alternative anyway.. Please help if you have any ideas.. Thanks..Health Question & Answer

I used to have trouble swallowing pills.. Sometimes we would try to place them in a spoonful of applesauce.. If that didn't work we would usually break them up in the applesauce because breaking them up always made them taste bitter so the applesauce helped..
I finally started to practice with a bag of M&Ms.. I'd try to swallow a few of these.. Once I got that down it was just a matter of applying it to pills instead..
You should check with your doctor before breaking them up..Health Question & Answer
