I read his book and did quite smoking.. I didn't immediately because it took time for the concepts to sink in.. Once I understood them i went from being a 9 year standing 30 per day smoker to quiting..
I haven't smoked in nearly 12 years..
I'm sure his principles will apply to any addiction and I would give it a go.. You are likely to be more successful than following the AA's program..Health Question & Answer

No, but after trying everything including NHS clinics etc etc etc to stop smoking for 18 years.. I read his book, The Easyway, not believing for one minute, all the time I was reading, that it would help.. That was three years ago.. I gave up instantly, never smoked since, suffered very minor withdrawal symptoms, exactly as the book said I would, but it conditioned me to do that, and did not get hunger pains and did not put on weight.. The book said that I wouldn't get hunger pains or put on weight..
