Can phytosterols cause testicular atrophy?!

Question: Can phytosterols cause testicular atrophy.?
Answers:
Since nobody has answered yet, I'll toss in my 2 cents..
I've never heard of any men having any "sexual problems" from phytosterols...... they are just plant-based alcohols (no, not an alcohol that can get you drunk) that help with cholesterol health.. Theoretically, it should help to keep the cholesterol healthy by maintaining a healthy level of cholesterol and cholesterol levels that are too high can restrict proper testicular activity.. So, by that theory, Phytosterols should help keep the testicles healthy, not cause them to atrophy..
also, FWIW, phytosterols exist in basically all plants including fruits and veggies..

If you're having problems with your testicles shortly after you started a phytosterol, it may be an allergic reaction to the nutrient.. You should stop taking that product and talk to your doctor if you are having problems.. Good luck!Health Question & Answer
