Make sure it's under 100 mg, and look for the non sulfate form..
When I took iron (ferrous sulfate) years ago, it caused terrible nausea.. A nurse friend suggested that many react to the sulfer.. Read labels.. Anytime you take something that is in a concentrated form, you risk feeling nauseated.. Zinc is just fine to eat or drink with something else.. Some vitamin/minerals don't do well with some foods or other vitamin minerals.. But zinc is fine to eat something with it..Health Question & Answer
