I would recommend Ananda Marga - they teach a form of Transcendental Meditation that i think is one of the most effective around, and they have teachers all over the world.. Most likely there is one near you.. They don't have a directory online, but they do have a list of contacts who'll tell you where the nearest centre, or teacher is:

You can only learn TM via a teacher, it is they who give you your 'sound/word' that you will use for the rest of your meditating life..

It is an expense, which is one of the main problems with TM..
