Yes, you go to school.. There are schools of holistic medicine in Los Angeles..
On average an hour is 55 dollars per hour.. Out of that fee you pay for your gasoline, table, lotions and relaxation music...... OR you pay for your table, lotions, music and office space; I prefer the office space location for all business.. There are also expenses for sheets, towels and laundry..
You are paid cash before the session begins, after the session if you know the customer..
You are usually self employed and therefore self insured..
The most steady work comes from full-time employment with a chiropractor.. I recommend speaking to some local chiropractors before becoming fully trained as classes to reach HHP (Holistic Health Care Provider), reached $4000 for me..
I do not recommend traveling to the customer.. For a profitable, safe, healthy business you will need the customer to come to you..
I mainly took the classes to provide preventative treatment for my family.. I do not provide a practice for the public.. Many of my friends found that they were not happy with traveling to their customers and I find it unacceptable to go into a man's apartment alone..

There are tons of schools in CA.. Each city has different licensing requirements there so you would need to check and see what they are in each city..
