Has anyone tried EFT for allergies/hives?!

Question: Has anyone tried EFT for allergies/hives.?
I am interested in hearing from anyone who has tried this method, as I prefer not to take medications that mask a problem and not resolve it.. ThanksHealth Question & Answer

I have used EFT for a lot of issues, personally not for allergy,
There are a lot of testimonials on the EFT website on its use for allergies (www..emofree..com)
Personally I think it's best to have a session of EFT (or BodyTalk, which, in my opinion is more comprehensive), preferably with a professional that can uncover the deeper issues, be they emotional, environmental, or chemistry based
You can use EFT on yourself while the allergy is active, but usually you need to go deeper to resolve it
And as they say "Try it on everything"!Health Question & Answer

tap tap therapy I like to call it.. It is waaaaaaaay out in left field on the plausibility scale, and investigation of it shows any of its possible effects are due to the placebo response......as with almost all AM practices.. (I know I sound like a broken record on this, it just happens to be the truth)

Medications for allergies or hives don't "mask a problem"......they treat the problem, which is excess physiologic histamine release in response to an allergen trigger.. Simple chemistry stops this process......ie "resolves it" !

I did a quick MEdLine and Cochrane search and while EFT adherents claim it can be used for allergies, I don't see any scientific studies confirming it does anything..Health Question & Answer
