Many herbs are wonderful for lip balms! Classic scents such as peppermint are very good.. I also like ginger, it gives a nice tingly feeling.. If it tastes good and smells good: it's more than likely suitable for a lip balm..
Be careful about safety, though.. Essential oils can burn if you use too much and some herbs have safety issues of their own.. For instance, rosemary is a neat unique lip balm scent, but rosemary things aren't considered completely safe for people with epilepsy..Health Question & Answer
