There are tons of medication for high blood pressure.. Several things cause high blood pressure.. Diet, lack of exercise, stress not to mention hereditary genes passed on to you.. If you want to attempt to lower your BP on your own try eating right no salty foods, greasy, no caffeine.. These will all increase your BP, and if that doesn't work then go to your doctor and he will prescribe you a low lose of BP medications.. You can't just ignore high blood pressure, it does damage to your arteries and enlarges your heart, it will cause problems later in life.. Health Question & Answer

There could be many different factors that may cause your high blood pressure.. A question though, do you have chronic high blood pressure or did you just sit down and take it at home.? Has it been diagnosed.?

Now for what to do.. Meditate.. You're in the alternative medicine section so this shouldn't be too surprising.. Meditation can help lower your blood pressure no matter what the cause..
Now add lifestyle changes.. Don't smoke, do exercise mildly.. Yoga, or walking is good.. Do eat more vegtables and less meat..
