i have the worst hangover ever my stomach is killing me it hurts so bad the only thing that sounds good is laying down but im disturbed by throwing up every 5 min and my puke is this bright yellowish color its pretty gross and im hungry but nothing sounds good the only that actually sounds good is soup but its way too hott to eat that i was thinking of taking some painkillers but im scared that ill throw up even more cause my stomach is empty........i feel like complete ****......please help me out people......10 pts to the person who helps me out most :/Health Question & Answer

Typically you should drink lots of water before you go to bed and take two Ibuprofen, as it will help replenish the water that has been dehydrated out of your system from drinking..

Ginger root is actually a really great remedy (4 quarter sized pieces steeped for 10 minutes in just boiled water-strain & drink (it will help the nausea caused by the hangover..

A Tablespoon of honey believe it or not (high in fructose) so this will help your tummy feel better..

The most popular but to me taste really bad just to warn you, is add a half teaspoon of salt to eight ounces of club soda do not sip it drink it through a straw the liquid needs to pass through you as it is being swallowed..

You also may if you can stomach it, try a banana it is high it otassium but often to heavy to sit in your tummy..

To minimize it now take B complex tables (50mg) but it works way better to prevent it but it does help even after when it feels to late as it hits your system it will help.. It makes a better prevent or if you are already feeling really bad now you should crush the tablets for faster action..

Orange juice is also really good to drink right now if you feel you can't do the banana or the water some people like myself can not stomach food right after so I usually try the juice and Ibuprofen thing..

Taking pills in addtion to the aftermath will cause your stomach to toss it as your stomach is empty and it will not mesh well with the extra acid in your system now.. On top of that it will add to a nastier taste then the already yellowish stomach acid you are now vomitting..

I still with chocolate milk and some toast or the OJ cure are my favorites sometimes my social fun gets me not feeling so great but as I have gotten older I practice the whole not get dehydrated thing and taking they IBuprofen before I go to sleep and do much better off these days..

The yucky bright yellow stuff is the acid in your stomach.. Just so you know..
Drink water little sips at a time.. If you have ever meditated try that to control the stomach muscle contractions so you can keep the water down longer.. Try a few crackers too that should help with the feelings in your stomach..
When you can keep the water down and a few crackers then go for the soup.. Don't push it just stick to the water and soup for the rest of the day..
Sorry but time is still the best remedy, oh and avoidance..

it sounds like you are badly dehydrated.. you need to start drinking water.. it doesn't matter if you keep throwing up your body needs hydration.. or maybe try some chamomile tea to soothe your stomach.. once you feel your stomach can handle keeping something down take some pain reliever and eat something.. my favorite hangover cure is gatorade and bananas..
for future reference if you think you are gonna drink a lot I recommend eating before hand and take pain reliever BEFORE you pass out..
the short answer is there is no miracle cure.. it will take time and you just have to take care of your body and give it what it needs so it can recover quicker.. good luck..Health Question & Answer

the yellow stuff is bile, and its normal with that much vomiting to eventually start throwing up bile..
i understand nothing sounds good......but you need to force yourself to eat......ANYTHING.. my boyfriend is an advocate of greasy fast food after heavy drinking, something to do lubing up the stomach and plumbing and washing down the toxins.. it works for him.. for me, i've been a strong believer in coconut water since costa rica.. works every time for me......you can go to a store like whole foods for coconut water, do a search online for VitaCoco..
other than that, treat i like you would a virus......TONS of fluids and try to force yourself to eat dry toast, if nothing else.. a couple pieces of dry toast or maybe even some ramen noodles, once you get some carbs in your stomach it can help soak up the extra toxins and coat your stomach enough to take a pain killer.. rest rest rest.. try to take a nap if you feel well enough to, i know sometimes it hurts too bad to nap.. lol

the most important thing is forcing yourself to eat......it will suck at first......but about 15 minutes after eating ANYTHING you will feel 10x better.. a sports drink would be a good if you can't get any coconut water......and of course, normal water is always good too.. juice might be easier to drink than water though.. as long as your stomach stays empty you will feel like absolute crap..

to add......with my nausea from my pregnancy peppermint and peppermint tea helped a lot.. although eating first would be key.. then use other things like sour candy or peppermints, tea and things like that.. eat eat eat.. <3Health Question & Answer
