Question: Have you ever taken Ambein sleep aid.?
I have been takin it for a month now my doctor gave it to me for nightmares ..I wake in the morning very qiuckly and my concern is I never am able to get the right amount of sleep..I have 3 kids and by the time all is said and done for the night it's late and I take it and I wake early every morning..Any one had these problems the waking up to early not sleeping the full time ..No cause to wake just up and awake early..Thanks for any inputHealth Question & Answer

I didn't like Ambien because all it would to is make me "dopey" (for lack of a better word)..
But, I'm larger than the average person (6'7'') and they gave me the same dose as the would have given for, say, a 5'2'' lady at 115 lbs..
For the most part, though, whenever it did finally put me to sleep, I'd almost always wake up at 7 am.. But I wasn't super-groggy either.. I'd always get my maximum amount of sleep (because the 8-hour recommended sleep is a crock)..
I wish you luck on your sleep aid.. Not everyone is affected the same way, but I could give you a little bit of advice: Don't drive within 10 minutes of waking up after taking it the night previous.. I was actually struggling against the medicine, but it was an emergeny, and no one else was around..Health Question & Answer

it takes about a month to get in your system but not everything will help you get the rest that you need..talk to your doctor it can be so many things that's not letting you get the rest you need..good luck! i understand ,i don't sleep well myself..just don't over medicate yourself..yep,i have the problem of taking the meds.. then waking up so early too..i wish you the best of sleep when it comes an it will..
