How long is Oxycodone "safe" for?!

Question: How long is Oxycodone "safe" for.?
My doctor prescribed Oxycodone in the past for kidney pain (ended up being kidney stones.. Yuck!), but I did not finish the bottle.. I was wondering, are those pills still okay to use if necessary, or do they expire.? I got them about three months ago.. Thanks!Health Question & Answer

If you're still in pain, then they should be ok.. Go back to your doctor, fresher pills are more effective.. Those will probably help some, but asking your doctor for new ones would be much smarter.. He'll probably write you a new prescription and tell you to throw those away.. Pills start to lose their potency after about a month.. They are perfectly "safe" however..Health Question & Answer

actually they are still good but..................it is very addictive.. If you really need it then it's ok, but that is prescribed for severe pain, a lot of ppl abuse it and I do know of two young ppl that ended up taking their lives because they were addicted and couldn't get it anymore, the withdrawal was so bad.. Take care, livelife, be happy..Health Question & Answer
