Question: I have a question about overdosing...?
I have to take 2 500mg when I am in pain.. I also have a bottle of 750's.. About 5 minutes ago I took two 750's thinking it was the 500mg.. I went into the kitchen and found the 500mg and realized I took the wrong ones..

First, relax.. I don't think that you've done anything that's going to kill you.. If you think about it, you've only increased your regular dosage by 1 pill (250mg times 2)..
I looked on the Internet and saw that the usual side effects for Vicodin (if any) are lightheadedness, dizziness, or nausea.. It also said that to alleviate any of these symtoms, just go lie down..

The numbers 500 and 750 refer to the Tylenol/acetaminophen.. The maximum safe dose in a 24 hour period is 4000mgs.. You will be fine.. Help your liver out a bit by drinking some extra water and make sure if you need more pain meds to keep a tally on your total for the Tylenol.. Serious, irreversible liver damage can occur at doses over 4000mgs..Health Question & Answer
You are going to be more tired than normal and possibly more nauseous (if you get this way) because you are going to have more of the narcotic in it.. Since this is a one time thing you will be ok but don't make a habit of it of course because it isn't good for you.. Oh and you could get dizzy too.. :)Health Question & Answer

Prescription amount is 800mg of ibuprofen.. You have taken too much.. Do not take anything else for at least the next 24 hours.. Drink lots of water and if you begin to feel any weird symptoms, such as dizziness contact the doctor.. Health Question & Answer
