Question: Old wives tale or an element of truth.? Arthritic pain can be treated by placing stinging nettles .?
on the affected/effected (always get muddled with that word) area.?

If it has an element of truth I'll never get arthritis because I've been stung rotten this afternoon whilst clearing away debris at the end of my wildlife garden.. Where's the dock leaf please! Health Question & Answer

Haven't heard of that one, but have heard of the bee stings JG mentioned, my aunt who has severe RA has tried bee stings but I don't think she noticed a difference (just the pain of the stings!).. My friend's mum actually does the bee stings (she's not the person who did it to may aunt though), but I don't know what evidence base there is for doing that treatment..Health Question & Answer
