What do people think of reflexology? I fancy getting it to see if it helps me relax?!

Question: What do people think of reflexology.? I fancy getting it to see if it helps me relax.?
Answers:
I highly recommend it as all my clients have been relaxed afterwards. I myself always massage my clients solar plexus area on the feet at the end as this gives them the feeling of weightlessness/floating and sends them into a feeling of complete calm and relaxation. Try it for yourself and enjoy!Health Question & Answer

Reflexology is based on an absurd theory and has not been demonstrated to influence the course of any illness. Done gently, reflexology is a form of foot massage that may help people relax temporarily. Whether that is worth $35 to $100 per session or is more effective than ordinary (noncommercial) foot massage is a matter of individual choice. Claims that reflexology is effective for diagnosing or treating disease should be ignored. Such claims could lead to delay of necessary medical care or to unnecessary medical testing of people who are worried about reflexology findings.

Health Question & Answer

If you like regular massages you will like reflexology.
I don't like massages and its wierd when people are touching me, so its the same with my feet.
But pretty much everyone else likes it.

the people who do it are all trained and proper too. they know what their doing with regard to pressure points. yes i would suggest trying it out. but i would also suggest getting your husband/kids or whoever to do it for you. Health Question & Answer

there's also aromatherapy, hot stone therapy, holistic therapy, indian head massage . . . . .
i'd go for aromatherapy because the oil which is massaged into you is personalised with all sorts of things like whether you have any of these Stress

Back and Joint Problems

Anxiety/Depression

Muscular Pain and Tension

Insomnia

Digestive Disorders

Headaches and Migraines

PMT/Menopause

Some Skin Disorders

and loads of things!

id research it to see which one you'll get the most benefit from! :DHealth Question & Answer

Reflexology is the act of stimulating the feet/hands for health benefits to corresponding organs and areas of the body. Tips of toes correspond with the brain, but I don't know why you think it'll make you relax. You need to chill out!Health Question & Answer
