How to get rid of a sore throat fast?!
Question: How to get rid of a sore throat fast.?
OK, so I can't stand sore throats. They get really bad for me. They get so bad I've thought about having my tonsils removed so I don't get them anymore, but idk if that'll solve it.
How do I get rid of this.? I have school tomorrow and really don't wanna miss it because of certain things goin on. So what I have to work with is, water and ice of course, tea (but I hate tea), honey, hot water bottle, cough drops, and thats all I can think of, but I really wanna stay away from the salt water thing, I hate that...but any ideas will help. Answers:
Warm foods/drinks would be a much better choice then the cold ones. The warmth is more soothing to the throat. Warm water with lemon juice and honey is a very nice throat soother, and drink LOTS of it, along with lots of rest. Stay away from the cough drops, they can actually make your throat worse.Health Question & Answer
Garle with as hot of water as you can stand with a LOT of salt mixed in.
Gargle in big mouthfuls and spit out in sink after each one, do this for the whole cup.
Do this once every hour and once again right before bed.
Do it when you wake up in the morning and again before you leave.
You will feel MUCH better! This is a sure-fire remedy that i always use if i get a sore throat.
Cold food would be better to eat because they will help the swelling go down. also drink as much orange juice as you can get your hands on.Health Question & Answer

I kid you not, google this,..."The Throat and Tonsil Doctor". I got this stuff a few months ago because I had tonsil stones. They completely went away... not to mention last week I got a bad sore throat and decided to try that for it, and on the second day the sore throat was completely gone. Get it and keep it on hand. In the meantime, try peppermint or chamomile tea with real lemon in it, and honey. It works wonders.Health Question & Answer
