"Micronized" sounds like some sort of marketing gimmick.
When L-Glutamine (or any other Amino Acid) is free-form, it means there are no other Amino Acids with it. That's good because if there were multiple Amino Acids in the same mix, they could easily combine into proteins and take away the benefits of the individual Amino Acids. So, if you have pure L-Glutamine, each molecule will be as small as it possibly can be... there is no shrinking ray technology as of yet. LOL!

If it's more than a marketing gimmick (meaning just a phrase or trademark name or something), then you could call the company and ask them what it means... they should have the best explanation instead of someone's random or educated guess on here. Good luck!Health Question & Answer
