VICODIN Can I take 3?!

Question: VICODIN Can I take 3.?
Got into a motorcycle accident, and hurt my back. Just muscle pain... horrible.
Doctor prescribed Vicodin, 5mg/500mg and im supposed to take one to two each time I take it.
When I take one, does nothing. I take two, makes me drowsy but still I find it hard to sleep.
Last night, I took three and it was the greatest feeling in the world.
I slept, but kept waking up and feeling that "euphoric side effect." Greatest side effect, I couldn't believe it.

It was easy to fall asleep, and every time I turned, my back didn't bother me...didn't hurt horribly like it normally does.
My question is, can I take 3 at a time.? I only do this before bed. I am in pain.

thanks in advance

Answers:
haha take ten.

well maybe not ten but three will be fine i promise.

five would be even better.Health Question & Answer

they are very addictive, and a sedated sleep is not a proper REM sleep...you don't get the recharging benefits from it...lack of REM sleep makes you loopy...you end up in a state where the only time you feel good is just before you fall asleep on drugs

remember, just because they are legal does not mean they are not hard drugsHealth Question & Answer

All I can say is that the more you take, the harder it is for your liver to process. Ultimately, I would ask your doctor if you could get a stronger dose. Tell him about your inability to sleep...maybe leave out the great side effects you enjoy so much.

Remember also, pain killers are highly addictive so be careful.Health Question & Answer

Ive taken 5 but that was after I extracted the tylenol. 3 should be ok but don't be surprised if you get addicted.Health Question & Answer

yeah but you should prolly gradually slowly stop taking it or you'll just horrbile side effects.Health Question & Answer

VIcodin is addictive, that's why you have to limit your intake.
