Regarding Herb Vaporizers And Direct Inhalation - No Pot Nazis Please?!

Question: Regarding Herb Vaporizers And Direct Inhalation - No Pot Nazis Please.?
I was just wondering if you guys think using a vaporizer to save your lungs when smoking herbs such as pot or whatever other herbs you can use a vaporizer for with 'healing qualities' is only burning the herb half as much or if it is actually taking all the chemical out. Because, like, in the bag the vapor looks like thin smoke, and when the herb is done being burned, it's like orangey as if it's only half burnt ... so maybe ... it just doesn't burn it as much and the chemical is not being completely taken out. what do u think.?.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
ok, vaporizors are made to burn at the right temp so all the thc is burned, but none of the plant matter, there fore you dont have thick smoke becaues there is no plant matter being burned. and yes some people say that there is a bit left in, but its probably worth the helth benifits, also you can use the rest to make cannabutter or something.

i assume "the chemical" means thc..?.?.? aka tetrahydrocannabinol

and yes i know that out of the top of my head.

&good idea blixa22. give it a try and test it out. i dont like vaporizors because i like the smoke though.... not to worried about occasional smoking leading to lung damage...Health Question & Answer

I don't know, but just guessing, it sure seems to me like it'd release the chemical better and more purely than actual combustion. The vast bulk of smoke should be inactive stuff. I think you should take the color of the used material being not-black, as a good sign, since it means you're not going to be breathing a lot of mystery ash along with your goody. If you really need to know, try smoking the used part ;-DHealth Question & Answer

vaporizing doesn't burn it at all...it vaporizes it. what your seeing isn't smoke at all, its vapor. Health Question & Answer
