No, we're not M.D.'s and we're well aware of this as we didn't apply to med school. Just like osteopath's are not MD's either. Doctor's of Medicine (despite their specialty) are the only ones who are actually M.D.'s.

there is no other word for chiropractor. there are others in the health caree field that perform spinal manipulation, such as an osteopath. an osteopath is not a M.D., they are given the D.O., doctorate of osteopathy designation.
