What`s another word for chiropractor, in the medical field?!

Question: What`s another word for chiropractor, in the medical field.?
Answers:
You might be thinking of an osteopath. An osteopath is an M.D. who has specialized in osteopathy, which treats patients with spinal adjustments and other muscular-skeletal issues. Hence, an osteopath's treatment is similar to that of a chiropractor. However, an osteopath can write prescriptions for traditional medications.

Chiropractor, chiropractic physician, Doctor of Chiropractic.

No, we're not M.D.'s and we're well aware of this as we didn't apply to med school. Just like osteopath's are not MD's either. Doctor's of Medicine (despite their specialty) are the only ones who are actually M.D.'s.

That does not, however, mean that we are not in the medical field or that we are ineffective for treating various structural & muscular dysfunctions.Health Question & Answer
