PLAIN white yogurt. It will go in and kill the yeast causing the infection.

is it oral.? My daughter had oral thrush as a newborn the prescription the dr gave her ( nystatin) didn't work so he suggested a tincture called gentian violet you can buy at in the health and beauty dept at walmart its usually by the iodine and such anyway use a q-tip and swab your entire mouth cheeks and tongue. ( it is purple and will stain clothing and fabric) I recommend doing it on a day when your not planning to go out as your mouth will be purple also. go to your health food shop or sum chemists and buy live cultures ( afadfilisbifados) cant spell it but they are keep in fridge and they kill yeast infections. Health Question & Answer
