I have found, on many occasions that chamomile tea L. Matricara recutita ,is excellent for upset stomach....you can buy the dry herb in a health shop...use 1teaspoon of the herb to a cup of boiled water poured into a mug, cover it for ten minutes then strain and drink it......you'll feel the difference almost immediately.
I used it also for my children when they were teething. It is a great herb that aids in normalizing digestive function., is a muscular relaxant, good for anxiety, morning sickness, nausea. There is only one precaution...and that is to those sensitive to ragweed pollen.
know this will help you.....Health Question & Answer

Seeing the cause of your symptoms as a direct result of your diet, you might well find the solution in your diet as well. Try eating fruits (and drinking their juices) only on an empty stomach, and place some emphasis on whole, unprocessed foods like salad and lightly steamed veggies.
If you're nauseous, take a slice of fresh ginger root and chew it (or just leave it under your tongue). Or try some ginger tea!Health Question & Answer

Activated charcoal capsules or tablets always good to have on head. Will absorb the toxins/poisons & take it out of your system.

Ginger syrup (or ginger tea, capsules or fresh ginger) to settle the stomach.

AHCC or beta glucan 1,3 to kill the bug that caused the food poisoning (if you mean you ate spoilt food.?).

Some good old fashioned club soda (Perrier...), sparkling mountain spring water, preferably unflavored or lemon flavored only.

Good luck.Health Question & Answer

Ground ginger in some juice is also very effective. And can be taken by anyone. I've noticed that straight root or even ginger candy can have a mighty burn to it. So anyone like me who can be more sensitive, needs something to moderate the strength of the ginger. Orange or cranberry juice works very well. Health Question & Answer
