Answers:
I'm not sure what you mean by numbers. I don't eat any foods that contain ingredients with numbers because they are usually unnecessary dyes, preservatives, or suspicious crap.

Other food additives that I avoid: artificial flavors, artificial sugars (not enough testing for safety), any trademarked ingredient (TM), high fructose corn syrup (due to the overload on the pancreas), margarine (trans fats), lard (ditto), cottonseed oil (this is hard for the body to break down and may be bad for the heart), MSG (my stomach gets really twisted from this crappy salt substitute), white grape juice concentrate (again the pancreas due to the sugar load), and licorice (because I hate that flavor - Ha! It also raises blood pressure).

also I avoid commercial grocery store eggs and dairy because of the additives that come from the drugs, growth hormones & steroids given to the cattle/chickens that are concentrated in the fat and eggs. I buy organic eggs, dairy products, and grapes/wine too since they are one of the highest-pesticided fruits in the US and neighboring countries, and organic sources have none of these chemicals added.

Hope that's sort of helpful. Is there something specific you are trying to avoid.?

There is hundreds of them. Try getting your hands on the book "Additive Alert" by Julie Eady. Its a terrific read without you feeling overwhelmed with all that scientific stuff. Very easy to put into place, you don't have to all of a sudden chuck everything out of the cupboards, apparently "not all additives are bad or harmful" Good luck!Health Question & Answer
