Is there any natural way to get better sleep at night?!


Question: Is there any natural way to get better sleep at night.?
I know, it sounds like a silly question. I've had a rough cold for about 5 days now, and it's really interfering with my sleep. I have even tried to nap in the afternoon, and still wake up, unable to lay back down. Through the night I am waking up every two hours or so, and it takes anywhere from 10-45 minutes to fall asleep again. I've tried NyQuil, and things of that sort, but they really don't seem to do much for my cough.

Is there anything I might be able to try at home, that will either relieve me of the cough, or help me sleep a little better at home.? I'd really like a decent night's sleep =\

drink some chamomile tea with honey it is Relaxing and will is a good sleep aid the honey is also a Natural antibiotic that will help heal your cold also Lavender oil on your feet. the best kind is 100% high grade I like young living but it has to be ordered and it comes from utah so if you don't want to wait that long go to a local health store and buy the highest grade you can find. between the lavender and chamomile they are both calming and relaxing and are great sleep aids.
also if you don't have chamomile you can boil 1 cup water 1/2 cup lemon juice fresh if possible and 1/4 teaspoon cayenne and 2 tables spoon Honey. this is hot but all three things are natural antibiotics. a hot salt bath natural sea salt if possible also will help pull the cold out but on this be careful when you get out of the tub you might get a little dizzy and queasy as it has pulled a lot of toxins out that your body was used to being there.

Before going to bed, have a hot cup of milk or chamomile tea with 1 spoon of honey. This will relax your cough and let you sleep.

Additionally, if you want you can use organic essential oils to improve your sleep. Rub your chest with fennel oil before bedtime or just put a scented towel with Lavender essential oil under your pillow.

It's actually been scientifically proven that reading before bed for at least 20 minutes makes someone more tired and sleep better than they would if they took medication.

Honestly, it does work. I usually do this if I'm not tired, or can't sleep.
